  • Committees

In order for DBSV to be amazing as it is, it has multiple committees that function as a support for the association. It is important for DBSV that all members contribute to a club, which can be easily done by joining a committee. It is a great opportunity to learn about more than just football, meet new people and build on your resume. Each committee is lead by one of the board members. Interested in doing more? Sign up for one of the following committees. There is always one that fits your preferences!

    The Sponsoring Committee

The sponsoring committee consists of a group of active DBSV members who are working with the sponsoring commissioner (sponsoring@dbsvredsocks.nl) in order to find new sponsors for the club as well as keeping good relationships with the existing ones. DBSV wouldn’t be able to exist without sponsors, so it’s important we find new ones every year.

    The Activities Committee

This committee helps the activities commissioner (activiteiten@dbsvredsocks.nl) organize monthly events, canteen activities and of course the yearly members weekend. You are also responsible for organizing the INKOM of the following season and being present at all INKOM activities. Attracting new members and showing them who we are as a club is always our aim.

    The Audit Committee

The audit committee is responsible for overseeing DBSVs finances. You will need to meet with DBSV’s treasurer (penningmeester@dbsvredsocks.nl) a few times throughout the year in order to go over the accounts, earnings and expenses of the club, and make sure that all these are in line.

    The Black Redder Committee

Four to six times a year our club magazine the ‘Black Redder’ is published. You’ll be responsible for taking pictures of matches or events, writing articles, and asking others to write articles or contribute. Creative? If so, then this is definitely something for you!

    The Sunday Funday Committee

The Sunday Funday committee helps out the match secretary (wedstrijdsecretaris@dbsvredsocks.nl) on home Sundays, hence the name. You’ll help out with making the fields ready to play and other important jobs to make sure our home Sunday is a real Funday.

    The Futsal Committee

The futsal-committee manages everything for the futsal teams. You will be working together with the DBSV board members in order to integrate the indoor and outdoor teams.

    The B.A.R.T. Committee

Every year on the weekend of ascension the legendary B.A.R.T tournament is played. The B.A.R.T. committee organizes this tournament. Contact the old B.A.R.T. committee or check out http://www.barttournament.nl for more information

    Trainer/Coach

Many of the men’s teams have a DBSV-member as trainer and/or coach. Would you be interested in doing this? Possibly with someone else? If so, then let us know!

    Team Leader

Every DBSV team has two team leaders. Team leaders are in contact with the board and give updates on how the team is doing, and if the team needs any help with anything.

    The Bar Committee

The bar committee helps out regularly behind the bar in our canteen. Your job is to work (at most once a week) behind the bar after our practices and of course during our home Sundays. It would be nice, but not necessary, for you to have some experience working behind a bar.

    Referee

Every Sunday we play matches, we need referees for that. A compensation of €15,- is paid to the referees for each match that they referee. You also have the opportunity to follow a referee-course.

    Volunteer at a DBSV Event

Having volunteers present to help at a DBSV event is vital in order to make sure that these events are successful. By signing up to this you will be required to help for at least 6h at DBSV events such as the B.A.R.T. tournament, the Schoene Maas clean up, or the Bevrijdings Festival.

If you are unsure of what area of DBSV you would like to help out in, please don’t hesitate to contact any of the board members or older members with questions or advice!
