Committees

In order for DBSV to be as amazing as it is, it has multiple committees that function as a support for the association. It is important for DBSV that all members contribute to a club, which can be easily done by joining a committee. It is a great opportunity to learn about more than just football, meet new people and build on your resume. Each committee is lead by one of the board members. Interested in doing more? The Activities Committee

This committee helps the activities commissioner organize monthly events, canteen activities and of course the yearly members’ weekend. You can also help organizing the INKOM of the following season and be present at the INKOM activities. Being in this committee means we expect you to actively help out at our events and be of general assistance.

The Audit Committee

The audit committee is responsible for overseeing DBSVs finances. You will need to meet with DBSV’s treasurer (penningmeester@dbsvredsocks.nl) a few times throughout the year in order to go over the accounts, earnings and expenses of the club, and make sure that all these are in line.

The Media Committee

The media team will be involved in assisting the PR person of DBSV with small tasks. You will be responsible for helping our own PR to come up with ideas for posts, taking pictures and videos of matches or events and creating content for the social media of DBSV such as match statistic posts, small video clip edits etc. Creative? If so, then this is definitely something for you!

The B.A.R.T. Committee

Each year, DBSV organizes a big 7v7 tournament where football and parties have equal weight. The B.A.R.T. committee is the one who organizes everything for the big weekend in June. Check out the BART instagram (@barttournament) for more information!

Referee

Every Sunday we play matches and we need referees! A compensation of €15,- is paid to the referees for each match that they referee. 

Volunteer at a DBSV Event

Having volunteers present to help at a DBSV event is vital in order to make sure that these events are successful. By signing up to this, you will be required to help for at least 4h at DBSV events. The board will keep you informed of the volunteering opportunities throughout the season. These can include: helping out during the home Sundays, being a linesman or referee when they cannot do it, being chaperones during pub crawls etc.
